During the summer I was with my friend in the shopping centre. We went to the bathroom where we met a cleaning woman. After a few seconds we came in she asked me if I wore a lipstick. I had red lips so I admitted it and then her next question was about my age. I told her that I was 16 and the conversation suddenly ended. She probably thought that I'm much younger so it's inappropriate to wear colourful lips or makeup in general. But even if I were it really wouldn't change anything. In my opinion, it's definitely not her issue and she shouldn't care about somebody's appearance. It's very upsetting that people constantly interfere with affairs which don’t concern them. I also don’t understand why people think that wearing a makeup should be adjusted to age. I find it all quite ridiculous.

Reflections #02
I observed that nowadays a lot of small kids have their own smartphones, which my peers when they used to be the same age didn't even know about. In primary school we had those old-school phones, probably reusing after our parents, but no one thought of any other model. It was just enough for a kid's needs. But I noticed that our times have changed and children use smartphones constantly and switch them as a new kind of entertainment. I haven't seen any chlid yet having some issues with the telephone service as well. When kids are bored they often bring out their phones and tend to watch something on it or browse the internet. I don't want to sound like an old aunt complaining about the technology but it really bothers me how often nowadays we can see a toddler watching something on a phone or older kids who are fully capable of using their own smartphones.

Reflections #01
Some time ago I was in a bus and I noticed that a young girl was listening to music in her headphones and moving, even a bit dancing to the rhythm while several old people were staring at her with an outraged and displeased face. It made me think that old people often don't adjust to new situations, they are kind of backward and also dislike young people. They probably can't understand that somebody is fully allowed to do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't hurt anyone else. They are indignant when they see a person acting in a little bit different way than usually. They often judge mostly young people too critically and they don't even try to understand anything. They immediately perceive their behaviour as something inappropriate, something that they never would do. They look at things in a very strict way. Maybe that's why many teenagers may find them unkind and reluctant to others.

What does it mean to be a lady?
Being a lady requires to have many necessary qualities. Overall, she must be perceived as impeccable woman. A lady is definitely the opposite of ladette. She should have appropriate manners and propriety. Naturally, she should also follow the savoir vivre. Being a lady obligates to be a presentable woman. An attitude as well as appearance are very important. She should look neat and attractive. A lady must be polite and kind to other people as well. It's quite hard do determine all qualities that the one should have but i think she must be excellent as a woman in every way.

Would you like to turn vegetarian?
Turning vegetarian would be very difficult and complicated for me. It would be such a challenge to limit products you can eat especially when you're on special diet yet. That's why I don't even consider if I want to turn vegetarian. It could be examinable but only when you have a good health state. In this case being vegetarian is surely beneficial according to e.g ethical reasons. However, I don't think it's possible in my situation.

What does it mean to be a real man?
In my opinion there isn't any definition of real man. Everyone is guiding by different values so no one can determine expressly the features that real mean should have. Some of them e.g kindness, glee, bravery, helpfulness, care, intelligence are often considered as those required. But this opinion is very stereotypical and we should have our own taste and wisdom. A real man should just meet our expectations. Being a real man can be interpreted differently by all people due to variety of our needs as well as values.

Does school prepare us for life?
I think that school prepare us for life but not in every aspect. Surely school teaches us dealing with obligations and responsibility for various things that we are supposted to do on the set time like homework or projects. School also teaches us respect and being polite to people like teachers. School helps us to communicate and work with other people. Despite of those siginficant examples, school still can't fully prepare us for an adult life because we will see it until we start to live on our own and become self-contained. In conclusion, school can partly prepare us for life, but not everything is taught there.
